Hafiz Ibn e Kaseer wrote a renowned commentary on the Qur'an named Tafseer al-Qurān al-Aẓeem, linking certain Hadith and sayings of the sahaba to verses of the Qur'an for explanation. This work is particularly valued for its use of hadith to provide insight into each verse and chapter of the Qur'an.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir stands out as one of the most comprehensive explanations of The Noble Quran. About the Author and Tafsir:

His full name was Abu l-Fida Isma IL ibn Umar ibn Kaṯiri, also known by the epithet Imad ad-Din. His lineage can be traced back to the Quraysh tribe. Born around AH 701 (AD 1300/1) in Migdal near Damascus, Syria, Ibn Kathir was a student of Ibn Taymiyya and Al-Dhahabi. His scholarly career included various prestigious appointments and culminated with a professorial position at the Great Mosque of Damascus before his passing in February 1373 (AH 774).
